Mold Remediation - Honolulu HI

When people think of Hawaii, they immediately picture beautiful coast lines and epic sunsets. They're right! However Hawaii is also known for regular rain showers and warm temperatures year round. These are two of the most important ingredients to mold growth. Wells Environmental was contracted to perform a mold remediation on the island of Oahu. Why would a company from Ohio travel all the way to Hawaii? Local companies were inundated with work and were not available for months. We received the call on a Thursday and were on a plane that Sunday. Timely mobilization is one of our specialties!

When we arrived all of the exposed HVAC duct work was covered in black growth. We went to work on a lift HEPA vacuuming visible growth, treating the duct work (inside and out) with a potent mold killer and hand scrubbing every square inch. When we were finished the duct work looked like new! We also suggested to the store management that they replace the HVAC filters regularly. We try to address the problem as well as the downstream effects.
