Asbestos Abatement - Canton, OH

WEFM was contracted to perform contractor oversight and air monitoring at a very large former department store in Canton, OH during a complete repurposing of one building and in preparation for demolition of another outbuilding. This has been an ongoing project for approximately a year and this was the final phase prior to turning it over to the new tenants. This involved several separate containments throughout a 250,000 square foot building. Approximately 30,000 square feet of floor tile, hundreds of pipe fittings and several mechanical room components were abated between the two buildings. The final phase was originally scheduled for three weeks; we completed the job in two. Not only did we provide oversight on the entire project we worked with the contractor to establish an NEA (negative exposure assessment) and passed a state inspection during the process. Once again, WEFM brought the project in ahead of schedule while complying with all state and federal regulations.
