Lead and Asbestos Inspection - Monroe, MI

Wells Environmental was contacted by a property development company located in Monroe, MI. They are in the process of repurposing long-abandoned buildings in the downtown area into residential housing. In this particular project, the owner was combining three separate apartments into a large suite. An asbestos inspection had been performed several years ago but was lost at some point. The City of Monroe required updated asbestos and lead inspections prior to moving forward with the project. WEFM responded quickly, on site two days later. We sampled all of the current building materials, located some long-forgotten materials and tested all of them. Lead results were available immediately following the inspection, letting the owner know lead was not an issue. Asbestos results were verbally communicated to the owner and general contractor two days after the inspection and an official report was issued two days later. The owner was very happy with our response to his issue, our professionalism and our very quick turn around time, allowing his project to move forward with very little delay.
