It's a wonderful concept to breathe life back into these classic buildings. However, it has to be done right. The owner of these properties began renovations prior to having an asbestos inspection conducted on two different properties. The City of Monroe put a cease and desist order on the renovations upon discovery of the work pending the results of asbestos inspections. Wells Environmental inspected both properties in a single day and had the results back to the property owner within days, satisfying the city's requirements and ensuring that renovations are conducted with the safety of the workers in mind.
