Mold Remediation - Sylvania, OH

Wells Environmental was contacted to perform a mold remediation on a foreclosed home that was vacant. The power had been shut off to the home following the previous owner vacating the premises, rendering the basement sump pump useless. The finished basement flooded to approximately two feet. All drywall was impacted from the floor to approximately four feet up. Work started the day after we were granted the job. The drywall was removed, the remaining wood walls, floors and ceiling were treated with an antimicrobial and the wood was treated with an anti-fungal encapsulant. Clearance samples were collected and the house was deemed mold free. The house was turned over to the real estate company three days later, start to finish.
